About George Williams

George Williams has been dealing in and restoring 18th and 19th century furniture for over 40 years.

 

He is a specialist in Irish Georgian furniture, and has worked extensively with many important Private and National Collections.

 

He is based in Co Meath, where he and his wife Maggy run George Williams Antiques.

We carry out contents valuations, for Probate, Insurance, and present market value and family division. This can be done in the comfort of your own home.
  • We offer advice on home security and protection against burglary.
  • We work on a daily rate, so there are no hidden costs or extras.
  • We provide digital photographic images, for safe keeping as your own record and proof of ownership.
  • We will give you a full itemised list of your items, with detailed descriptions and current market values and the entire valuation is then bound on our own stationery and copies can be provided for family members.
  • On carrying out a full valuation we are able to closely inspect each item for damage, woodworm, or any other problems that we may spot, and we will offer advice as to how to tackle and deal with these things.
